You may like to know that having written 13 books on the subject I have now completed the series covering all GCs to date. However, I am always intersted to hear of sales of medals, of new awards and of course of passings away. New memorials are erected from time and time and these too are of interest. Families are welcome to contact me for information on their relatives and for a small fee I will provide them with whatever material I still have on file.
If the person you are looking for is NOT
in the database then he/she was NOT awarded the George Cross. The only George
Medal recipients included are those who were additionally awarded the George
Cross. If you are in doubt about any medal which you think may be a GC please
compare it with the image - all George Crosses look like this.
