Purchasers of the Set of George Cross Encyclopaedia will be entitled to a FREE Supplement/Update in the future - don't worry I have the names of those who already have a set. This is not likely for about a year but already there is more information sitting on my computer waiting to be included. There will only be the cost of postage applicable.

- Illustrated Biographies of all George Cross Recipients is now available. It is in 4 volumes in a limited edition in Hardback, it is only available as a Set. It contains all information from the 14 books in the Series One Step Further plus many more photographs, amendments and additional material. It is fully Indexed with many Subject Indexes such as India, Army, Young People, etc. and there is a comprehensive Bibliography.

Should you still only want one book from the OSF Series covering a particular family member most are still available direct from me though there are not many left.
Those who were entitled to Exchange their original award of either the Edward or Albert Medal but chose not to or did not get the chance to choose are all included. Some preferred to be known as Albert or Edward Medallists rather than GCs and this has been respected in the Book.
I am always interested to hear of sales of medals, of new awards and of course of passings away, as we sadly heard of Margaret Purves (Vaughan) the last surviving lady GC. New memorials are erected from time and time and these too are of interest. I hope to hear from families particularly those who have not been in touch before.
If the person you are looking for is NOT
in the list below then he/she was NOT awarded the George Cross. The only George
Medal recipients included are those who were additionally awarded the George
Cross. If you are in doubt about any medal which you think may be a GC please
compare it with the image - all George Crosses look like this.
